Responsibilities
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team, working with advanced vacuum and industrial equipment used across various industries, including semiconductor manufacturing, glass coating, and solar energy.
The primary role of the Service Technician is to repair and service this specialized equipment, which includes turbo molecular pumps and their associated power supplies. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure a quick turnaround time for customer repairs. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and proficient with both hand and power tools.
Essential Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Follow established protocols for the decontamination and cleaning of vacuum equipment.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) during all service and repair tasks.
- Repair, test, and troubleshoot vacuum equipment according to specified procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including photos and detailed service records.
- Assist the quality team with corrective action and failure analysis reports as needed.
- Help maintain an accurate inventory of service parts.
- Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment.
- Support the logistics department with shipping and receiving tasks.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
