Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Operate a forklift to move, stack, load, and unload materials, products, and equipment.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring proper documentation (e.g., bills of lading) is accurate.
- Warehouse Organization: Transport materials to designated storage areas, maintaining a clean, orderly, and accessible warehouse or facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by accurately locating, counting, and tracking materials. This may involve using an RF scanner or other inventory management systems.
- Safety and Maintenance: Conduct daily safety checks and inspections on the forklift and other equipment. Report any damages, malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately. Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Locate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment, ensuring loads are secure and prepared for transport.
- Communication: Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of materials
