As a key member of our small, collaborative team, you'll work closely with the Shipping Coordinator to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products, from receipt to final shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory & Documentation: Place orders for restocking, coordinate cycle counting, and manage the accurate receipt of large inbound freight, ensuring all documentation is correct.
- Reporting: Run critical end-of-month reports on on-time delivery and inventory counts.
- Shipping Coordination: Assist with shipping documentation, with a specific focus on preparing and organizing paperwork for overseas shipments.
- Communication & Collaboration: Maintain constant communication with the sales department to support new product development and ensure seamless service.
- Team Support: Work hand-in-hand with the Shipping Coordinator, acting as a tag-team to manage daily warehouse operations.
- Experience in a purchasing, inventory, or logistics-related role is required.
- Proficiency in running reports and using computer systems for inventory management.
- Comfortable with frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting in a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to wear steel-toed shoes.
