Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Dispatch and Route Management: Plan, schedule, and dispatch delivery routes to internal and third-party delivery drivers to ensure on-time and efficient product delivery.
- Communication Hub: Act as the main point of contact for drivers, providing information on routes, traffic conditions, and customer delivery requirements via radio, phone, and other systems.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues that arise during delivery, such as route changes, delays, or customer requests, by providing effective solutions in real-time.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all calls, dispatched routes, driver status, and delivery activities using our dispatch software.
- Customer Support: Communicate with the customer service team regarding delivery status and any issues that impact customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with warehouse and store goods flow teams to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time for dispatch.
