Responsibilities
- Supervise and train the overnight quality assurance team, providing guidance and support to maintain high performance.
- Conduct and oversee inspections of labels at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality specifications and client requirements.
- Identify and document any non-conforming products or process deviations, and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain meticulous documentation for all products, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations (such as 21 CFR Part 201 for pharmaceuticals and 21 CFR Part 101 for food) and other relevant industry standards.
- Manage and organize all required records, including batch numbers, expiration dates, ingredient lists, and allergen information, to ensure full traceability and audit readiness.
- Use and maintain quality control equipment and tools, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Collaborate with the production and management teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and analyze quality reports, providing feedback on key performance indicators and trends.
