Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Shipments: Plan, schedule, and execute the shipment of goods from our warehouse to customers and other destinations.
- Utilize Shipping Systems: Process all domestic and international shipments using shipping software, including UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager. Generate shipping labels, customs documents, and other required paperwork.
- Manage Carrier Relationships: Schedule and dispatch freight carriers, negotiate rates, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and commercial invoices. Ensure all shipments comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Track and Resolve Issues: Monitor shipments in transit, provide updates to stakeholders, and proactively resolve any shipping discrepancies, including delays, damages, or lost packages.
- Inventory and Warehouse Support: Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure products are picked, packed, and ready for shipment, and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Customer Service: Act as the main point of contact for all logistics-related inquiries, providing timely and professional communication to customers and internal teams.
- Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with shipping systems like UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager.
