 A small manufacturing company looking for a Purchasing and Inventory Clerk to be the backbone of our operations. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things related to our inventory and supply chain.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Managing inventory through purchasing and cycle counts
  
  
• Acting as the primary point of contact for our suppliers
  
  
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations

salary: $21.63 - $26.44 per hour

Responsibilities

Order Processing/Supplier Relations
• Process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in terms of product specifications, pricing and delivery
schedules.
• MaintaPurchasein and update supplier information.
• Research new materials and vendors.
• Determine best method for shipment and schedule shipments as needed.
• Obtain estimates and price details from multiple vendors to compare costs; negotiate pricing.
• Explore cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality.
• Ensure deliveries are on-time.

• Collaborate with carriers to negotiate shipping rates/terms.
• Prepare shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms)
• Monitor shipment progress and provide updates to relevant parties.
• Address any delays in shipment.

• Physically handle inventory, organize stock.
• Monitor stock levels and identify
