The Inventory & Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for receiving, shipping, and distributing aviation and automotive components, hazardous materials, and tooling. Daily tasks include verifying shipments, maintaining accurate data in inventory systems, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing inbound and outbound shipments, verifying part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and shelf life.
- Logging and replenishing inventory in computerized systems.
- Preparing shipping labels, documents, and packaging in compliance with aviation and hazardous materials standards.
- Performing cycle counts, physical inventory, and monthly shelf-life audits.
- Distributing materials and equipment to technicians and customer sites.
- Organizing parts by category and assisting with shelving and stockroom layout.
- Supporting shipping and receiving functions during off-peak hours as needed.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Background in aviation or automotive parts, logistics, or related technical fields.
- High level of computer literacy with experience in inventory management systems, shipping software, or ERP tools.
- Familiarity with compliance, documentation, and traceability requirements for parts and materials.

Responsibilities
Inventory & System Management
- Maintain 24/7/365 coverage of stockroom operations.
- Receive, log, and verify parts, hazardous materials, equipment, tooling, and cores in the computer system.
- Verify shipments against waybills and confirm proper labeling, documentation, and traceability.
- Track part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and shelf life in the system.
- Stock, log, and replenish inventory through computer systems as required.
- Inspect inbound/outbound shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Prepare and process shipping labels, documents, and computer entries.
- Arrange shipments with appropriate vendors and confirm documentation.
- Package hazardous materials and sensitive parts according to FAA and company standards.
- Distribute parts, materials, hazardous items, and tooling to on-site staff and global aircraft technicians.
- Perform customer parts pick-ups/deliveries (e.g., Dassault Falcon Jet TEB).
- Execute pick, pull, and put-away functions for inventory.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and physical inventories as requested.
- Conduct monthly shelf-life audits.
- Prepare required reports and maintain accurate records.
- Identify and segregate parts (aircraft parts, consumables, core returns).
- Build or relocate shelving as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the stockroom.
