We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role requires a professional with a strong background in troubleshooting and maintaining complex mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and servo motors. Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities 

• Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance: Performing repairs and maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Equipment Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues with equipment, including PLCs, servo motors, and VFDs.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conducting routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Equipment Operation: Using computerized machine controls and interfaces to monitor and adjust machinery.
• Documentation: Using CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• Experience: 3+ years in industrial maintenance, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with mechanical and electrical systems, VFDs, servo motors, and PLCs.
• Software Literacy: Competence with desktop applications and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like Maintenance Connection.
• Soft Skills: strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, organization, and initiative.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or technical school credentials are a plus.
• Tools: Possess and be able to effectively use their own hand and power tools.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

standing for 8 hours at one time
