2nd shift maintenance tech lead.

We're a leader in engineered structural connectors and are seeking a Maintenance Lead for our 2nd Shift in Columbus, OH. You will support production by maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of industrial equipment, including conveyors, stamping presses, and sortation systems. This role also involves supervising the daily activities of the maintenance team, providing coaching and mentorship, and identifying opportunities for skill development. You'll receive a $2.00 shift differential for every hour worked.

salary: $64,000 - $100,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 2:30 AM

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting (40%): Repair, install, and troubleshoot all plant equipment.
  
  
• Team Leadership (20%): Manage work orders and coach technicians.
  
  
• General Maintenance (20%): Perform general upkeep to support plant operations.
  
  
• Work Order Management (20%): Manage and assign daily work orders and preventative maintenance.
  
  

We're Looking For Someone With:

• At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  
  
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  
  
• Experience with Industrial Automation Controls Systems (IACS) and large manufacturing equipment.
  
  
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70E, NFPA 70, and OSHA standards.
  
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  
  
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  
  

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Regularly stand, walk, twist, and bend.
  
  
• Lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs.
  
  
• Work in an environment with exposure to heat, cold, loud noise, and moving mechanical parts.
