We are seeking reliable and motivated Auto Mechanic Helpers to join our team. If you bring a positive attitude, we’ll provide the training, tools, and support you need to succeed.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist mechanics and technicians with installing electrical equipment on trucks and utility vehicles
- Help run wiring, connect 12-volt systems, and perform basic electrical troubleshooting
- Read and follow blueprints and diagrams to complete assembly tasks
- Use hand and power tools to mount parts, accessories, and components
- Perform quality checks and follow safety procedures daily
- Support the team with general shop duties, organization, and prep work
- Interest in mechanics, cars, or trucks — hobby or work experience both count
- Comfort using hand tools and willingness to learn electrical basics
- Reliable and detail-oriented, with teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently once trained and follow instructions carefully
- Previous mechanical or assembly experience is a plus, but not required
- Work on real trucks and equipment and see the results of your effort every day

Responsibilities
Auto Electrical Techs work on up-fitting a wide range of truck and utility equipment, spanning from Vans to Class 8/9 Trucks. They should have experience in assembling and installing equipment and products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble/install equipment and products.
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Perform all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Confer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Always work in a safe manner.
- Be self-starting with basic vehicle electrical knowledge.
- Learn/follow established company electrical guidelines.
- Be proficient at troubleshooting simple electrical installations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge and experience of 12-volt electrical diagnostics and wiring.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow verbal directions and written instructions.
- A team-player with a good work ethic (courteous, flexible punctual and professional).
- A level-headed, detail-oriented and safety contentious individual.
