- Experience: Minimum three (3) years of hands-on, multi-craft maintenance experience in a specialty chemical, petrochemical, or continuous process manufacturing environment.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred.
- Certifications: Journeyman’s Certification (Millwright, Electrician, or Pipefitter) OR the Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) credential is a strong advantage.
- Core Skills: Proven ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, P&IDs, and equipment schematics.

Responsibilities
- Rotating Equipment Mastery: Perform precision repair, overhaul, and installation of complex equipment (pumps, agitators, gearboxes, motors). Expertise in mechanical seal installation, laser alignment, and vibration analysis is highly valued.
- Proactive Reliability: Execute Predictive Maintenance (PdM) strategies and actively participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive measurable reductions in mechanical downtime.
- Multi-Craft Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system failures involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components across automated process and packaging lines.
- Instrumentation & Controls (I&C): Utilize basic PLC interaction skills (input/output monitoring) and sensor calibration to ensure optimal performance of control systems and high-speed automation.
- Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to specialized Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols, including mastery of chemical-specific Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for pressurized chemical vessels and systems.
- Documentation: Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for accurate work order management, parts tracking, and regulatory history logging.
