About the Opportunity We are recruiting for a leading food and beverage manufacturer with a reputation for quality and innovation. Due to growth, they are seeking a skilled 3rd Shift Electro-Mechanic to join their dedicated team.
This is a critical, hands-on role where you will be the primary maintenance expert on the overnight shift. You will have the autonomy to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sophisticated production machinery, directly impacting the facility's success. Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Independently diagnosing and repairing complex electro-mechanical failures on high-speed production and packaging equipment.
- Performing advanced electrical diagnostics on systems including PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), VFDs, HMIs, servo motors, and industrial control circuits.
- Executing hands-on mechanical repairs on systems such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and pneumatic/hydraulic equipment.
- Conducting scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) to increase equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Maintaining detailed logs of all maintenance work, repairs, and parts used to ensure clear communication between shifts.
- Adhering to all safety and quality protocols (including GMPs) within the manufacturing environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanic or Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls.
- Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
- Experience working independently and managing priorities on an overnight shift.
- Commnication skills (English/Spanish) are beneficial for team collaboration.
- Experience in a food, beverage, or other GMP-regulated environment is a plus.
Shift & Physical Requirements
- Schedule: This is a full-time, permanent 3rd shift position. Initial training will be provided on the 1st and 2nd shifts.
- Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to be on your feet for the duration of the shift and perform tasks that include walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Mechanical Maintenance: Execute hands-on mechanical repairs on a variety of systems such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and pneumatic/hydraulic equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to increase equipment reliability and proactively address potential issues before they cause downtime.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance work, repairs, and parts used to ensure clear communication and seamless handovers to the next shift.
- Safety & Quality Compliance: Uphold rigorous safety standards and comply with all quality protocols (including GMPs) within the manufacturing environment.
- Fabrication: Utilize machine shop tools to fabricate or modify components when necessary to complete a critical repair.
