Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and performance testing of electronic components, PCBs, and subassemblies using oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level, identifying root causes of failures and recommending corrective actions.
- Conduct failure analysis on defective components, documenting findings and implementing solutions.
- Work with engineering teams to develop and refine test procedures, ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to support troubleshooting and testing.
- Utilize soldering and rework techniques to replace or repair faulty components such as resistors, capacitors, ICs, transistors, and connectors.
- Verify compliance with quality assurance and safety standards (IPC, ISO, MIL-SPEC, or equivalent).
- Maintain accurate test records, prepare reports, and update databases with test results.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of test equipment.
