- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Milling Machinist.
- Technical Skills: Expert ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T symbols.
- Controls Proficiency: Working knowledge of standard CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas).
- Material Knowledge: Experience working with a variety of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, steel alloys, and plastics.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational/technical program or apprenticeship is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
- Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines (e.g., Haas, Fanuc controls).
- Programming/Editing: Read and interpret G-code and M-code; perform program edits at the machine to optimize tool paths and ensure quality. Experience with CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, etc.) is a major plus.
- Quality Control: Utilize precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges) to perform in-process and final inspections, ensuring parts meet strict quality standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Tooling: Select, set, and adjust appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work holding devices.
- Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine or program errors quickly to minimize downtime.
