The Role: Schedule: Generally Tuesday - Saturday, 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This can be somewhat flexible!
- Hours: We prefer full-time with the opportunity for overtime, but we are open to a minimum of 30 hours per week for the right candidate.
- Work Environment: On-site in a warehouse setting.
- The Perk: You'll be out by 3:00 PM daily!
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Furniture repair and assembly
- Woodworking and carpentry skills
- Operating small hand tools

Responsibilities
The furniture technician is responsible for performing intermediate to complex-level furniture repairs, refinishing, and assembly. This role requires proficiency in various furniture categories, including living room, dining room, bedroom, and office furniture, constructed from materials such as wood, metal, stone/marble, glass, and upholstered fabrics.
● Conduct detailed inspections and diagnoses repair needs.
● Performs intermediate to complex repairs of furniture including structural fixes, spraying, and refinishing.
● Utilizes color-matching techniques to restore finish consistency.
● Handles and stores chemicals/materials per OSHA and company safety standards.
● Maintains product quality standards and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
● Completes assigned repairs efficiently and to standard.
● Maintains shop tools, equipment, and materials.
● Assists in parts ordering and inventory tracking.
● Documents repairs, quality issues, and process improvements.
● Supports shop training initiatives by mentoring apprentices.
● Ensures that only showroom quality furniture will be delivered to customers.
● Cleans up and disposes boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of facility and specific product line areas.
