- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural construction, with at least 2 years in a Supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in [Specify relevant structural areas, e.g., steel erection, commercial concrete, industrial rigging, etc.].
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and structural materials.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding complex structural blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of relevant building codes (e.g., IBC, AISC, ACI) and construction best practices.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification (or equivalent) required.
- Exceptional leadership, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and physical ability to perform construction work, including lifting heavy objects, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.

- Technical school or construction management certification is a plus.
- Specific certifications related to the trade (e.g., Certified Welder, NCCCO for Rigging/Lifting) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of structural workers (welders, ironworkers, concrete workers, etc.), subcontractors, and laborers.
- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient resource and manpower allocation to meet project schedules.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and on-the-job training to uphold best practices in structural installation and construction techniques.
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the structural crew and communicate project status to the Project Manager/Superintendent.
- Read, interpret, and accurately execute work based on structural blueprints, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Oversee the erection, installation, and construction of all load-bearing components, including steel framework, precast concrete, foundations, and heavy timber.
- Ensure that all structural work meets quality standards, engineering specifications, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with other trades (MEP, Architectural, etc.) and the General Contractor to maintain workflow and prevent conflicts.
