- Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and grinders, for a variety of tasks.
- Translate technical documents and engineering drawings into dimensions and specs for production.
- Load raw materials and ensure the machines operate according to company and safety guidelines.
- Observe machine operations for malfunctions or deviations and make necessary adjustments to produce improved results.
- Inspect and measure finished parts using precision tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to ensure they meet specifications.
- Complete production and quality logs to document machine actions and product measurements.
- Perform regular quality checks and preventative maintenance on machines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an additional technical education or certification is a plus.
- 3 years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers.
