Required Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
  
  
• 5-8 years of experience operating complex machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (5 years minimum operating MFG machinery).
  
  
• Expert knowledge of machine operations and advanced troubleshooting.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  
  
• strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  
  
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  
  
• Ability to train and mentor others (1 year of experience with SOPs and technical documents is required).
  
  

The Details:

• Pay Rate: $19.25 - $20.50 per hour
  
  
• Shift: First Shift
  
  
• Work Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday thru Friday
  
  
• Overtime: Must be available for required overtime, including weekends (up to 8 hours/week).
  
  
• Environment: Non-temperature controlled environment (must be able to work in different climates—cold or hot).

Responsibilities

As a technical expert, you won't just run machines—you'll ensure peak performance and quality.

• Expert Operation: Operate and set up multiple, complex machinery following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  
  
• Quality & Maintenance: Perform critical quality checks on finished products and support the preventative maintenance process through machine inspections and minor upkeep (cleaning/lubrication).
  
  
• Troubleshooting: Identify and report machine malfunctions and necessary minor repairs.
  
  
• Process Improvement: Assist in improving production processes for greater efficiency and quality.
  
  
• Mentorship: Train and mentor other machine operators, sharing your technical knowledge and expertise.
  
  
• Logistics & Safety: Load/unload materials, maintain a clean workspace, and strictly follow all safety guidelines.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
