Responsibilities
What you'll do:
- Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, including automation and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and fix root causes of mechanical and electrical issues, including welding, fabricating parts, and plumbing.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on all processing equipment.
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and repair components like drive chains, gears, electric motors, and gearboxes.
- Keep your work area and tools clean and organized, and assist in training other technicians.
- Promote a safety culture and follow all safety and compliance procedures.
What you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED, plus additional trade or technical education, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial, commercial, or facility systems maintenance.
- problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Experience with safety equipment such as LOTO, harnesses, and PPE is a plus.
The work environment:
This is a full-time position that requires working in an industrial setting. You must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and be comfortable with physical activities like climbing ladders and working in tight spaces. The role may require overtime, weekend, and holiday hours.
