Responsibilities
Supervise daily quality assurance operations to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, GMP,
HACCP, SQF (GFSI), Organic, Kosher, and other regulatory and customer requirements.
Lead, train, and motivate QA/QC team members and production staff to achieve the company’s
quality and food safety objectives.
Assist the director of Q&R in Facilitating internal and external audits, including customer, third-
party, and regulatory inspections; prepare and manage corrective action responses.
Oversee the execution of microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and quality control
procedures to verify product safety and quality.
Review and maintain QA records, test data, and compliance documentation.
Analyze food safety and quality data, identify trends, and generate reports to monitor
performance and identify areas of improvement.
Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints; develop and implement
corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct internal audits and inspections of production processes, sanitation practices, and facility
conditions to ensure compliance and identify potential issues.
Collaborate with other departments such as production, operations, warehouse, maintenance, and
R&D teams to resolve quality issues, implement improvements, and maintain product safety
standards.
Provide ongoing training and guidance to QA/QC staff on quality control procedures, food safety
requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
