What You'll Do:
- Perform Preventive Maintenance: You'll be the first line of defense against downtime. You'll conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance to keep our production lines operating at peak performance.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Quickly diagnose and fix mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. You'll repair or replace a wide range of parts, from motors and gearboxes to pumps and bearings.
- Install & Improve: Help install new equipment and assist with machine setups and commissioning to get production started.
- Keep the Facility Running: Handle general facility maintenance, including basic plumbing and structural repairs, to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
- Be a Safety Champion: Strictly follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), to ensure a secure environment for everyone.
- Respond to Breakdowns: Be ready to respond to emergency repairs quickly and efficiently to minimize production interruptions.
- Use Your Skills: Put your welding and fabrication skills to work by repairing or modifying parts as needed.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or production environment.
- strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with LOTO and other safety protocols.
- Welding and fabrication skills are a huge plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
