A leading commercial printing facility, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the essential hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our offset presses, bindery machines, and other production equipment. This is a critical role to ensure we operate safely and at peak efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven maintenance experience specifically within the printing or packaging industry.
- Troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- A solid understanding of safety protocols, especially Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Pay: $60,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Schedule: This position trains on the day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) for the first 10 weeks. Afterward, it will permanently transition to the night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).

Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a wide range of printing and finishing equipment, including but not limited to:
- Offset web/sheet-fed presses (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori, MAN Roland)
- Flexographic or Digital presses
- Bindery and finishing equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders, laminators)
- Pre-press equipment (e.g., CTP imagers, plate processors)
- Offset web/sheet-fed presses (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori, MAN Roland)
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system failures. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and service manuals to determine root causes.
- Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, drives (AC/DC, VFDs), sensors, relays, and control circuits up to 480V. Basic PLC troubleshooting is a significant plus.
