Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of incoming electronic materials, in-process sub-assemblies (e.g., printed circuit board assemblies or PCBAs), and final products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters, coordinate-measuring machines or CMMs) and specialized electronic testing equipment.
- Ensure all products adhere to technical specifications, blueprints, work instructions, quality standards (e.g., ISO, IPC), and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately record inspection results, including details of approved and rejected items. Prepare detailed reports on non-conformance issues, defects, and corrective actions taken. Maintain all quality control logs and records.
- Monitor and ensure that all inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
