A company in Suffolk County is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join its electronics manufacturing team. This role offers competitive compensation and a great benefits package. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products meet established quality standards and specifications before they are shipped to customers. This role is critical to maintaining product reliability and customer satisfaction.

salary: $52,000 - $55,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of incoming electronic materials, in-process sub-assemblies (e.g., printed circuit board assemblies or PCBAs), and final products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters, coordinate-measuring machines or CMMs) and specialized electronic testing equipment.
• Ensure all products adhere to technical specifications, blueprints, work instructions, quality standards (e.g., ISO, IPC), and regulatory requirements.
• Accurately record inspection results, including details of approved and rejected items. Prepare detailed reports on non-conformance issues, defects, and corrective actions taken. Maintain all quality control logs and records.
• Monitor and ensure that all inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
