Responsibilities
This leadership role oversees and performs preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on all manufacturing equipment and building systems, ensuring smooth operations and supervising the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Train, guide, and supervise the maintenance team. Assist the Manager with scheduling, task assignment, timecard approval, and enforcing safety/company policies
- Perform and oversee PM on machinery, engines, motors, and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using manuals, diagrams, and testing tools
- Inspect and replace defective parts using specialized tools and measuring instruments
- Create/update SOPs and JHAs. Maintain Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) records and compliance. Reduce downtime by training production staff on maintenance procedures
- Manage supplies and equipment inventory, including tracking, ordering, and verifying deliveries
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- 5+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience.
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
- Skilled with mechanical tools (calipers, grinders).
- Understanding of production and safety procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties (stand, walk, bend).
