Responsibilities

This leadership role oversees and performs preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on all manufacturing equipment and building systems, ensuring smooth operations and supervising the maintenance team. 

Key Responsibilities

• Train, guide, and supervise the maintenance team. Assist the Manager with scheduling, task assignment, timecard approval, and enforcing safety/company policies
• Perform and oversee PM on machinery, engines, motors, and production equipment
  
  
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using manuals, diagrams, and testing tools 
  
  
• Inspect and replace defective parts using specialized tools and measuring instruments
  
  
• Create/update SOPs and JHAs. Maintain Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) records and compliance. Reduce downtime by training production staff on maintenance procedures
  
  
• Manage supplies and equipment inventory, including tracking, ordering, and verifying deliveries
  
  
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience.
  
  
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
  
  
• Skilled with mechanical tools (calipers, grinders).
  
  
• Understanding of production and safety procedures.
  
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
  
  
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
  
  
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties (stand, walk, bend).
