A manufactuirng company is seeking a skilled and experienced Folding Machine Operator with specific expertise in operating, setting up, and programming Vijuk folding equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and accurate production of folded materials, primarily for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or general packaging industries, ensuring all products meet strict quality and specification standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-speed Vijuk folding machines to produce complex folds, including outserts, leaflets, and miniature inserts, according to job specifications.
• Maintain consistent running speeds and perform continuous quality checks throughout the production run to ensure fold integrity, perforation quality, and overall accuracy.
• Perform complete and efficient setup and make-ready procedures for Vijuk folding machines for various job sizes, paper weights, and fold patterns.
• Adjust feeders, fold rollers, scoring mechanisms, gluing systems, and slitters as required by the job jacket.
• Conduct necessary mechanical adjustments to achieve optimal machine performance and fold quality.
• Program the Vijuk machine's control system for new jobs, including setting fold lengths, batch counts, speed, and other necessary parameters.
• Troubleshoot and adjust existing programs to correct any folding defects or operational inefficiencies.
