What You'll Be Doing As a Tool and Die Maker, you'll play a critical role in our production process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Machining parts using lathes, milling machines, and grinders to ensure they meet exact specifications.
- Working with wiring and hydraulic lines to install electrical and hydraulic components.
- Laying out and determining the assembly method and sequence of operations.
- Applying your knowledge of welding and brazing to interpret blueprints and models.
- Maintaining and modifying existing dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Understanding and implementing a Preventative Maintenance (PM) program for dies and tools.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program (8,000 hours) or a 4-year degree from an accredited technical school.
- At least two years of experience as a journeyman tool and die maker.
- Experience with metal stampings and fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities
Must have completed an apprenticeship program (8,000 hours) or 4 year completion at an
accredited technical school.
Possesses at least Two (2) years experience as a journeyman tool and die maker working
with metals and knowledge of wiring and hydraulic lines to install electrical and
hydraulic components.
Must have experience with lathes, milling machines and grinders to machine parts and
verify conformance of parts to specification.
Possess the ability to compute dimensions, layout and determine assembly method and
sequence of operation.
Possesses basic welding and brazing skills with capability of determining specifications
from blue prints or models.
Demonstrated experience in working with existing dies, tools, jigs and fixtures to
recommend modifications regarding construction and function to part.
Experience in metal stampings and fabrication is preferred.
Candidate must understand PM program for dies and tools.
