Responsibilities
- Setup and Operation: Set up and operate both CNC and Manual machines (including Lathes, Mills, VTLs, HBMs) to fabricate precision components and parts for our industrial mixers and equipment.
- Programming & Editing (CNC): Ability to program (G-code, conversational, or CAM) or edit existing CNC programs as necessary to ensure optimal machining performance and part quality.
- Tooling & Fixturing: Select, set up, and adjust appropriate tooling, inserts, and workholding fixtures.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications, including understanding GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Quality Control: Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.) to ensure conformance to strict quality standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal working order.
- Safety & Efficiency: Maintain a clean and safe work area and strive to continuously improve processes for efficiency and quality.
