Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manufacturing Section Manager, The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for
overseeing the daily maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that all production
equipment, machinery, and systems are maintained at optimal performance levels. This role
provides leadership to the maintenance team, coordinates preventative and corrective maintenance
activities, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment reliability,
minimize downtime, and maintain a safe working environment.
Functions and Essential Duties
Supervision
 Supervise, lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians, providing direction,
training and performance feedback.
 Coordinate staffing needs for the shift in the instance of absences, tardiness, scheduled
vacations, shift exchanges, etc.
 Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with established
procedures and minimizing unplanned downtime.
 Manage maintenance work orders, track progress, and ensure timely completion with
proper documentation.
 Work with production supervisors to meet required preventive maintenance schedules.
 Monitor training requirements and certifications to ensure employees receive
appropriate training to perform assigned tasks.
 Conduct performance reviews for maintenance technicians.
