We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead our quality team and champion a culture of food safety throughout our manufacturing site. This role is critical to our success, overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and process improvement from raw material receipt through final product shipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Food Safety Systems: Design, implement, and maintain all Quality Management Systems (QMS), including HACCP, GFSI schemes (e.g., SQF, BRC), GMPs, and sanitation programs.
  
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits (FDA, USDA, State agencies, customer audits, and GFSI) and ensure 100% compliance with all federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
  
  
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and manage a team of QA Technicians and Supervisors, fostering a strong culture of quality and accountability.
  
  
• Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions: Oversee investigations into quality deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformance issues, implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  
  
• SOP Development: Develop, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical control points and all production processes.
  
  
• Supplier Quality: Manage the approved supplier program, ensuring all incoming ingredients and packaging materials meet stringent quality specifications.
  
  
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and lead projects to drive down quality costs and enhance overall operational excellence.
