What You’ll Do
- Perform visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspections of components and assemblies
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
- Document findings, maintain inspection records, and support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with production and engineering to identify and resolve quality issues

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Complete understanding of engineering drawings, standards and manufacturing operation sheets for detailed parts, subassemblies and final assemblies including:
- Working knowledge of conventional inspection equipment, (micrometers, calipers etc.)
- Generate inputs for non-conforming material reports based on inspection operations performed
- Use of standard record keeping documentation
- Able to create reports and summary of the inspection reports.
- Communicate and work effectively with various groups of employees in a team-based environment.
- US Citizenship required
Quality Requirements:
- Inspect products for incoming inspection for verification of acceptability utilizing AQL requirements.
- Ensure proper inspections have been performed to ensure product quality.
- Verifies specified dimensions of product or material when required for customer complaints, engineering evaluation and/or material review board requests.
- Familiar with J-STD-001 soldering and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
- Fulfill and adhere to quality standards, inspection processes, quality plans, documents, and reports.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings
Training and Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical and electronic assembly and inspection The understanding of assembly drawings, specifications, charts, tables, etc.
