Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized warehouse environment.
- Operate a forklift to safely unload and load trucks and organize incoming and outgoing materials.
- Store materials efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and inventory flow.
- Stage materials accurately for upcoming production and construction projects.
- Assist the Shipping & Receiving departments with the preparation and handling of products.
- Occasionally build custom wood crates for specialized product shipment.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance tasks, both inside and outside the facility, including groundskeeping as needed.
- Ensure all floors, including the warehouse and office areas, are kept clean and presentable.
- Execute minor general repairs and upkeep throughout the facility.
- Run local delivery and pickup errands using company vehicles, requiring a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment.
- Certified Forklift Operator (or ability to obtain certification immediately upon hire).
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- General knowledge of construction terminology, tools, and materials is highly desired.
- Ability to perform physical work, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50] lbs), and operating machinery.
- Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Must be a reliable and proactive team player.
