A manufacturing facility in Rock Hill, SC is looking for a Logistics Driver Manager looking to interview candidates ASAP. This role is fast paced and demanding. This company is growing quickly and willing to train for upward progression. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. They ar looking for a real go getter candidate who is open to some travel!

salary: $80,000 - $80,001 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for drivers for questions, issues, HOS, and how to operate
• Work with Rental Coordinator to schedule driver / operators and dispatches
• Communicate company information with driver / operators
• Serve as contact for some individualized clients.
• Onboard new driver / operators and train them up to competency
• Ensure current driver / operators are preforming up to competency with processes
• Coordinate and conduct quarterly Driver Meetings
• Make recommendations for when to hire, assist with interviews
• Track driver / operator performance on rental jobs and report monthly
• Hold driver / operator accountable to metrics
• Manage and issue all driver / operator equipment including PPE, parts kits, emergency kits, and media kits
• Audit driver paperwork for accuracy 
• Collect on-site pictures from drivers and file as appropriate
• Review and approve driver timecards and driver logs (E-logs)
• Control expenses within budget 
• Collect, track, and report statistics for Crane

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time
