We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Bellport, NY. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various welding techniques, able to read and interpret blueprints, and possess experience in structural fabrication skills for integrated structures. Responsibilities

• Perform welding using processes such as MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Stick (SMAW) on materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  
  
• Read and accurately interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine the proper placement, fit-up, and welding sequence.
  
  
• Fabricate, assemble, and fit-up structural components and assemblies according to specifications.
  
  
• Measure, cut, grind, and shape metal materials using hand and power tools.
  
  
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications (e.g., using visual inspection, gauges).
  
  
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment (e.g., plasma cutters, shears, brakes, punches).
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve any design or fabrication issues.
