Responsibilities
As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for the efficient handling and preparation of merchandise for customer shipment. Your primary duties will include:
- Picking & Collecting: Accurately finding and collecting merchandise throughout the warehouse distribution center.
- Inventory Management: Using a computer or scanner to check inventory, locate items, stock, categorize, count, and tag inventory.
- Packaging & Shipping: Assembling packages for shipping and preparing items to be sent to customers.
- Movement: Loading items onto dollies or conveyor belts to move merchandise throughout the facility.
- Quality Control: Inspecting merchandise for damage or defects.
