Responsibilities
- Review and interpret technical documents, including blueprints, diagrams, drawings, procedures, and instructions, to guide the assembly process.
- Precisely assemble components and repair and adjust products to resolve assembly issues and match changes to specifications.
- Utilize both basic hand tools (such as wrenches and sockets) and precision measuring devices (like dial calipers and dial indicators) to inspect and confirm dimensions accurately.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet all specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Identify any product defects or issues and record and report them accordingly using required quality and production forms.
- Perform all work in accordance with strict quality and safety standards and procedures.
- Ensure that equipment is operational by handling preventative maintenance, performing regular quality checks, and calling for repairs when necessary.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary product and components within the designated work station.
