Responsibilities
- Machine Setup and Operation:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code (programming language) to understand part specifications.
- Setting up the machine by mounting and adjusting tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
- Loading raw materials (e.g., metal, plastic, or composites) into the machine.
- Entering or adjusting program parameters like tool offsets, speeds, and feed rates.
- Running test programs to ensure machine output meets requirements.
- Operating the CNC machine, monitoring its performance, and making necessary adjustments during the production run.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code (programming language) to understand part specifications.
- Quality Control and Inspection:
- Performing in-process and final quality checks on finished parts.
- Using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify parts meet tight tolerance specifications.
- Documenting quality inspections, production output, and any non-conformities.

- Maintenance and Safety:
- Performing routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn tools.
- Troubleshooting and resolving minor operational issues or machine malfunctions.
