Responsibilities

A leading blown film manufacturing facility, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Supervisor to oversee our blown film extrusion operations. This role is critical in ensuring we meet our production goals, maintain the highest quality standards, and foster a safe and efficient working environment.

Operations & Production Management

• Direct and supervise the day-to-day activities of the production team on the assigned shift to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules and targets.
• Monitor all blown film extrusion lines and associated equipment, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality, efficiency, and minimize scrap/waste.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues quickly and effectively, collaborating with Maintenance and Process Engineering to minimize downtime.
• Manage raw material and finished goods inventory for the shift, ensuring accurate usage and reporting.
• Prepare and complete all required shift reports, production logs, quality checks, and documentation accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH blown film processes and equipment
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within a plastics manufacturing environment.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 12 hours at one time

working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
