Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory through consistent auditing and reporting.
- Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules.
- Communicates and coordinates inventory schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily to ensure necessary product, equipment, and human resources are allocated.
- Provides daily written and electronic analysis and statistics of inventory count and quality audit results.
- Performs spot audits of unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts and documents the results in an Excel spreadsheet.
- Interacts with supervisors to help identify trends, processes, or people that require corrective action.
- Reads and responds to all emails in a timely fashion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Must have verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent audit skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Must have the ability to work in a cooperative, team-oriented environment.

- Working knowledge of inventory quality control requirements and industry standards.
