Responsibilities
Position Summary
An entry level position that performs tasks requiring basic reading and comprehension skills, simple
machine and hand tool operations in the assembly process
Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with another team member to complete tasks in the assembly process
Fill assembly orders from start to finish according to company quality standards
Read instruction sheets, PCPs and other vital production documents
Log information on daily or weekly log sheets as required by department
Receive and verify parts for assembly process according to order
Process parts as instructed by the PCP
Use manual tools or switches and simple automatic machines
Separate and document failed parts
Prepare parts for next production step
Work with other team members and leaders to problem solve
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to function as part of a team
Basic reading and writing skills in English
Basic math skills and/or ability to use a calculator
Ability to visually identify bad production outcomes
Ability to learn and operate simple machines or tools
