Responsibilities
Marine Diesel Generator Service Duties
- Installation & Commissioning: Install KOHLER/Rehlko marine diesel generators per specifications, conduct commissioning (testing, parameter adjustment, system synchronization), and ensure proper electrical alignment and connection.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance (oil/filter changes, fuel system/coolant/battery checks) and inspections to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot generator and electrical malfunctions using diagnostic tools. Identify and repair/replace faulty components (e.g., injectors, starters, control boards). Test functionality post-repair to ensure safety and proper operation.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed, accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, parts used, and test results. Generate performance reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Communication & Expertise: Provide clear, concise status updates to clients and management. Stay current on KOHLER/Rehlko technical updates, and offer technical guidance/training to team members.
