About the Role: Join our dynamic manufacturing team in Lakeland! As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic or metal products. This is a critical night-shift role focused on continuous production, quality control, and machine performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare extrusion machinery by loading raw materials and adjusting equipment settings (temperature, pressure, speed).
- Operate and monitor the extrusion process, making real-time adjustments to ensure the product meets quality specifications and standards.
- Conduct routine quality checks on extruded products using gauges, calipers, and tape measures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues or malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts on the extrusion equipment.
- Complete accurate production records and shift reports.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience operating an extrusion machine or related manufacturing machinery is preferred.
- Great mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and production specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
salary: $17 - $18 per hour

Responsibilities
For the Winder/Extrusion Operator role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the production machinery according to quality specifications. Key duties include inspecting parts, making necessary adjustments or tool changes to maintain quality, and performing routine maintenance checks. You must consistently follow all company safety rules and be prepared for physical work involving bending, lifting, standing, and walking. A resume is required to be submitted to the client. Able to speak and understand English.
