Responsibilities
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide variety of heavy-duty vehicles and specialized mobile equipment utilized on construction sites.
- This includes standard construction machinery (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes) and specialized vacuum trucks/tankers to ensure all assets are operating safely and efficiently.
- Perform skilled repairs, overhauls, and replacements of major components, including diesel and gas engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, electrical wiring, braking systems, and specialized vacuum equipment components (e.g., pumps, blowers, water systems).
