Responsibilities
- Process Shipments: Accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards (e.g., UPS, FedEx, freight carriers).
- Receive Deliveries: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, noting and reporting any discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Inventory Management: Organize and store received materials in designated areas. Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records through cycle counts and proper documentation.
- Documentation: Generate and maintain all necessary shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading, customs declarations (if applicable), and internal logs.
- Coordination: Communicate effectively with carriers, internal departments (Sales, Production, etc.), and suppliers regarding shipment status, schedules, and issues.
- Safety & Organization: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
