Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on high-speed production equipment including bottlers, fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair 480V electrical systems, motors, VFDs, and control panels to minimize downtime and maintain safe operation.
- Diagnose and correct PLC issues—Allen-Bradley/Siemens—including basic programming, logic adjustments, and rewriting ladder logic as needed to restore functionality.
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on pumps, valves, pneumatics, hydraulics, and other processing equipment to ensure consistent product quality.
- Calibrate and service sensors, scales, temperature controls, and automated inspection systems used in food and beverage production.
- Collaborate with production teams to quickly respond to line breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and parts usage while upholding strict FDA, SQF, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
