An established, high-volume meat packaging manufacturer that has been growing rapidly for over 80 years is urgently seeking a seasoned Senior Maintenance Mechanic. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour (commensurate with senior experience).
Stability: Union contract guarantees 37.5+ hours per week, even during slow seasons.
Overtime: Plentiful opportunity for overtime, including scheduled weekend PM work.
Benefits: Union benefits (Medical, 401k, Annuity Fund) start after approximately 90 days of service. PTO starts after one year, with cash-out options available.

Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, preventative maintenance (PM), and repair on specialized food processing and packaging machinery (grinders, blenders, conveyors, vacuum sealers, etc.).
- Diagnose and fix issues within mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Electrical experience is a plus.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with strict safety (OSHA, LOTO) and food safety standards (USDA, SQFS, GMP).
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activity, parts usage, and inventory sheets using a computer system
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to aid in complex repairs.
