Location: Franklin, GA Shift: Full-Time, 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM), Monday – Friday Pay: $23.00/hour
Are you ready to keep the wheels turning?
We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team. You’ll be the critical player who ensures our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing production. This isn't just a job; it's the core function that keeps the whole operation going. If you thrive on troubleshooting and are mechanically and electrically gifted, we want to hear from you.
Your Daily Mission:
- Be the Equipment Expert: Execute precise set-up, operation, and maintenance across all industrial machinery.
- The Go-To Troubleshooter: Swiftly respond to service calls to inspect, diagnose, and perform emergency repairs on complex equipment.
- Hands-On Repair: Master mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs to get machines back online fast.
- PLC Power: Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)—our system's brain.
- Roll Mill Knowledge: Roll Mill experience is a definite plus and will set you apart.
- Maintain Order: Manage spare parts inventory for common items and ensure meticulous daily recordkeeping within our computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven, demonstrated competency in an industrial maintenance environment.
- Education: A Vocational Certificate, Associate's Degree in a technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience (we respect practical knowledge!).
- Technical Acumen: strong working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- PLC Skills: Comfort with troubleshooting PLCs is strongly preferred—show us you can speak the machine's language.
- Precision Matters: Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Bonus Points: Basic knowledge of robotics is a welcome addition!
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities—because machinery isn't the only thing that needs fixing sometimes.
We know the second shift demands a lot, so we offer a comprehensive package to support you:
- Top-Tier Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage starting day one.
- Secure Your Future: A strong 401(k) plan with a company contribution match (that's free money, folks).
- Time Off: Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays.
