Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Quality is a critical, hands-on leadership role responsible for guaranteeing that all products comply with customer, industry, and regulatory standards. This position drives plant-wide quality improvement by developing and implementing control measures, overseeing departmental goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The manager leads and develops the quality team, ensuring strong collaboration across production, engineering, and global quality functions.
Key Responsibilies:
- Standards & Compliance: Establish and maintain superior quality standards, policies, and robust systems that meet or exceed all corporate, customer, and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, etc.).
- Operational Excellence: Lead and drive comprehensive, plant-wide improvement initiatives focused on defect and scrap reduction to significantly lower the cost of poor quality and enhance process and product reliability.
- Assurance & Readiness: Direct all internal auditing activities and ensure perpetual readiness for successful external audits.
- Process Control: Champion the use of data analytics to identify quality trends, implement effective corrective actions, and continuously improve processes and quality outcomes.
- Performance Evaluation: Proactively assess department capabilities and protocols to ensure sustained delivery of world-class product performance levels within the industry.
- Fulfill all other assigned duties essential to the rol's function and organization's goals.
