Location & Pay
- Location: Clearwater, FL
- Pay Rate: $23 per hour (Based on Experience)
- Shift Differential: $1.00/hr for all hours worked between 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- Shifts: 1st (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) & 2nd (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) available. Must be flexible with working hours and open to overtime.
What You’ll Do You will perform lab preparation and analyses to maintain food quality and safety.
- Receive and test incoming raw materials and packaging.
- Perform analytical and organoleptic tests of finished products.
- Conduct start-up checks and monitor quality throughout the production run.
- Perform microbiological testing of finished goods and raw materials.
- Conduct ATP testing of environment and food contact equipment.
- Perform daily calibrations of lab equipment.
- Maintain laboratory record keeping and documentations.
- Understand and follow all applicable GMP’s, GLP’s, and SSOP’s.
Requirements Experience: 1+ years in a laboratory environment or Quality Control.
- Preferred Education: A.S. or B.S. Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or Related Field.
- Key Traits: Must be reliable, possess attention to detail, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, responding positively to changes.
- Physical: Continuous standing and walking; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
