The core function of this position is the installation, maintenance, and repair of avionic systems and troubleshooting down to the component level for a FAA Repair Station. The goal is ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards, contributing to the overall performance and reliability of our customers. Education and Experience Requirements
Education: An Associate degree in Electronics, Avionics, or a related field is required.
Experience: Proven experience as an electronics technician, preferably in the aviation industry.
Certifications: Relevant certification (e.g., FAA A&P License, ESA Certification) is preferred.
Technical Skills: Must have an understanding of electronic circuits, systems, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficient with electronic testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. communication and teamwork abilities are necessary.
Physical Requirements ️

- May require working in various environments, including workshops.
- Requires standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
- Occasionally may need to work overtime or on-call shifts to address urgent repairs.
- Must be able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards.

Responsibilities
The Technician will be responsible for:
Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and repair electronic equipment and systems, including avionics, communication devices, and navigation systems.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Utilize schematics, manuals, and technical documentation for effective troubleshooting.
Testing & Calibration: Perform testing and calibration of electronic components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and calibration activities. Prepare detailed reports on system performance and any issues encountered.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Collaboration: Work with engineering and quality assurance teams to improve existing systems and processes.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends related to aviation electronics.
